  • Experiences With Satellite Vs. Cable Television?

    Hello everyone,

(I searched for this topic and didn't find anything that wasn't at least two years old) I live in an area where it snows frequently during winter, with one or two harsh blizzards per year. During summer, short thunderstorms with downpours of rain happen very frequently. I have been researching switching from cable to satellite television due to it appearing to be better value but haven't been able to find any kind of recent reviews on the subject. Does anyone here have any stories involving satellite reception during inclement weather, or any other stories they would like to suhare about dealing with DirecTV or Dish Network for their television? Thank you in advance!tweakbox appvalley

Cable and satellite both function by letting you “tune in” to specific channels within that signal. The primary difference is that cable comes through a wired connection while satellite is wireless (until it reaches your house, anyway).
